Design and realisation of the conference room of the Brno Supreme Court
The Brno Supreme Court is housed in a unique listed functionalist building from the 1930s. And this is also the location of the conference room, which we have completely rebuilt and modernised for them.
In designing the room, our architects took as their starting point elements that are used throughout the building's interior - the dark stained wood of the window frames and the deep blue colour combined with chrome elements. These were incorporated into the veneered panelling, upholstery, curtain colours and chrome furniture.
The conference room was not to be without high quality furniture from German manufacturer Wiesner-Hager, large bespoke light fittings and a range of acoustic features for maximum comfort - from perforated acoustic plasterboard to PETfelt cladding panels, upholstered benches and curtains between the windows.
